How to play

The beach becomes the course.

Shoreputt turns the firm sand at low tide into a golf course. Pick a spot, set up the hole, and play it your way.

  1. A golf hole above three optional Wi-Fi arcs drawn in the sand, with ocean waves below. Optional

    Set up the hole

Dig a hole in the sand with the included shovel and insert the Shoreputt cup. Add the flag for visibility!

  2. A ball inside a horseshoe tee box, with an arrow pointing out through its open end.

    Pick a tee box

The winner of the hole picks the next tee box (starting point) and draws it's boundary.

  3. Three golf balls at different distances from the hole.

    Alternate shots

On the first hole, players tee off in order of age, from youngest to oldest. For every hole after that, the player who won the previous hole tees off first, followed by the remaining players in order of lowest to highest overall score.

  4. A dashed putting path ends with a golf ball dropping into the cup.

    Drain your putt

The player with the fewest strokes earns 0 points and wins the hole. Each place that follows earns one additional point, capped at 3 points per player. *Points are based on placement, not the number of strokes between players. For example, scores of 2, 2, and 4 strokes earn 0, 0, and 1 point, respectively. The lowest score after 9 holes wins!
